Jeontaik (John) Kwon, MD, RPVI, has joined the renowned vascular surgery team at MidHudson Regional Hospital.  As a vascular surgeon, Dr. Kwon specializes in utilizing minimally invasive endovascular technology to perform repairs and reconstructions on some of the most delicate structures in the human body.  He has a unique clinical interest in complex endovascular vein treatments, thoracic outlet syndrome, and reducing wound complications following vascular surgery.

Dr. Kwon joins MidHudson Regional Hospital following a two-year fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.  He completed his internship and residency at Thomas Jefferson/Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, PA, where he was honored with the both the patient safety award and chief resident award.  Dr. Kwon is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, Society of Clinical Vascular Surgery, Eastern Vascular Society, and Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society.
Dr. Kwon earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.  He received his MD from Albany Medical College in Albany, NY.
